Ridges Over Dovedale
8 Miles Grade 1

I think it's safe to say this was very much a proper winter walk. We were quickly on the fluffy white stuff which became deeper as we progressed up! In parts we even saw what looked like a doggy paddle being used by one of our two legged walkers to get through some of the deep sections! As we reached the tops the winds picked up a little and so we made a very quick pit stop for a hot drink and a bite to eat before pressing on again. Visibility gradually improved and we were treated to the fabulous views around us..
We were back at the car in daylight and headed for the pub for some refreshment and a welcome fire to thaw and reflect on the days walk. Many thanks to all for the great company!
