Janet & I travelled independently to the RSPB car park at the Geltsdale nature reserve to start our assault on Cold Fell. We passed Tindale Tarn  and followed a course of wide, narrow and non existent tracks with at times a pretty steep assent and by some amazing navigation work by Miss Nicholson ended up at the summit about 2 hours later !! Fabulous views all around, we did manage to pick out Blencathra although my photography skills haven’t highlighted this particular view!! We both had a great day with superb weather and views as far as you could see in every direction. Thank you Janet for getting us there (oh & back too)
