There were 20 walkers on today's walk from Armathwaite. The weather was pretty good with sunny periods, though a little hazy in the distance. It was warm enough for shirt sleeves most of the time. The hedgerows and wild flowers were at their best and we found interest in the llamas and ponies we passed. Lunch was taken under a threatening sky, but we avoided rain and finished in sunshine. My estimate of 7 miles turned into nearly 10 but there were no complaints (I hope). Thanks to all who came along.
