Walk & Event Reports

Five walkers left a gloomy Carlisle and arrived in Gt Langdale under a perfect blue sky day with excellent clear views.  Whilst it was very warm it was manageable and we had a welcome breeze especially for our first stop on Rosset Pike.  Angela and Max enjoyed a swim in Angle tarn and from Ore Gap Mark, Jean and Angela took in Esk Pike whilst Ann ticked off another Birkett - Pike de Bield. Lunch before the walk up to Bowfell for a few photos then all downhill from there. Having a pint there was a few spots of rain on sun canopy so we counted ourselves lucky to have had a brilliant day
