B Walk

Tindale Tarn

Only 5 on the B walk today and we were joined by Alison out on her first walk with the club, I hope we didn’t put her off and we see her back again. Due to the high winds we decided to stay low down. We gave Talkin Fell a miss and decided to go round Tindale Tarn instead. A nice flat walk and quite sheltered so we didn’t notice the wind at all. We stopped for coffee at Stagsike RSPB centre, what a lovely convenient place it is. We then made our way round the tarn and headed back to the cars, stopping for lunch on the way. We made good time and were back early. We headed off to Hayton Farm Shop but it was jam packed with people still having Sunday lunch so we ended up at Houghton Garden Centre. A lovely day, the weather turned out to be quite good.
