Eleven of us put a bit of a finger up to the weather forecast and got out there. We were duly rewarded with a rain free day (until we got back to the cars) some not to strong winds but some pretty good clear visibility all day. The pictures tell the story of the day. Lunch at the Priests Hole as planned followed by the ascent of Dove Crag. Some tough up hill bits to get to the summit at 2603ft but just about all down hill from there over Little Hart Crag and on down to High Hartsop Dodd. An 8 mile walk but definitely a fairly hard days walking but worth the effort in this spectacular bit of Lakeland countryside. Many thanks to those who came out and always remember, Maynrads Jelly Babies are the best.
