Talkin Fell

17 of us and 4 dogs had a nice stretch of the legs up a blustery and damp Talkin fell. Nice and gentle compared to the usual mountains, but very boggy and muddy. My little legs coped though 😉.
We didn't really get any views today but there was good banter and company.
After a little huddle among the cairns at the top and a nice ginger shot courtesy of Pete, we were ready to tackle the mud again on the way down.
A few cows looked a bit menacing on the way back but we survived 😆.
Some of us went straight to the golf club for pre-drinks, and some had a drink at the blacksmiths. Once everyone was accounted for, we sat for a lovely Xmas meal at Brampton golf club.
Good food, and good company. I thank everyone for coming along.
