Good to see alot of familiar faces again today. Twenty two altogether enjoying a leisurely stroll by Bassenthwaite Lake followed by a slightly more strenuous ascent of Dodd Fell . Somehow the predicted mileage of 7.5 got stretched out to 9 and a bit (I blame global warming)
Distant sightings of the Ospreys and lots of catching up chats made the day a pleasure.
Thanks for everyone who attended and also thanks for the free samples of Isabel's fantastic chocolate brownies - highlight of the walk for me.
