First point –  apologies for the late walk description.  Until about 40 minutes ago (now 17.47 on Monday) I have had no internet connection since returning from holiday on Saturday.  (Perhaps that beloved British institution Jeremy Corbyn now runs BT Internet??? )  Lovely walk yesterday.  Beautiful day,  an imaginative route round Binsey including the beautiful beech woods to the west of the A 591,  the woods that seem to have been for sale since about 1066.  Gorgeous warm, sunny weather.   The walk finished just on time for a leisurely trip up to the Craggs for lunch which,  despite £2 being mysteriously added to the bill for each of us,  was both well served and plentiful.  One party of 15 went from Bassenthwaite village,  the other party did a slightly easier route up to the summit,  but everyone seems to have very much enjoyed it.  Many thanks to Malcolm for planning and leading an excellent hike.
