Thanks to all who joined today's walk and enjoyed a warm day to say the least.
The walk from Ravenstonedale village was an exploration of some lesser walked paths leading to the familiar surroundings of Smardale nature reserve and it's
beautiful display of wild flowers.
Along the way we encountered traditional hay meadows, vintage buses, limestone pavement and a brief glimpse of a stoat or weasel
Given the exceptional weather the decision to steer clear of busier areas meant that we met very few other walkers save for a small group from Blackburn.
A great day and a great way to enjoy the sunshine.
