Well the fabulous weather set the scene today and a good start with everyone being able to squeeze into a few remaining spaces at Martindale Church. The effort of the steep ascent to Steel Knotts was soon rewarded with the first fine views of the day. Another pull up onto Wether Hill lead us to an easier path ticking off further Wainwrights of Loadpot Hill & Arthurs Pike where it was agreed the lunchtime views were pretty special. Onward to Bonscale Pike & its Towers for more of the same before the descent to Mellguards & the cars. Really appreciate everyone turning up, all made it a great day out. Welcome to Mark a new or should I say returning member after many years
