Dow Crag - White Pike Skyline

 8 Miles Grade 1

9 of us chose this great walk which, despite earlier storms and poor weather forecasts, was enjoyed in sunshine and excellent visibility (as far as Blackpool Tower south) and Isle of Man west) and all the surrounding Mountains.

There were a couple of light showers but they gave us rainbows rather than wet rain which added to the atmosphere. The walking was completed as planned with only Andy taking in the Old Man.Refreshments enjoyed in Coniston and everyone home by 6pm.
