Another good day weather wise which made this relatively gentle ramble a memorable day out.
The circuit of Grasmere and Rydal water afforded us with lots of views and there were frequent stops for picture taking and conversation.
A highlight of the walk was a visit to Rydal church to see Dora's Garden with it's beautiful display of daffodils. We took lunch in front of the Rydal caves, as always a busy spot, before traversing Loughrigg terrace with more views over Grasmere and back to Dunmail and the surrounding fells. A final section alongside Grasmere led us onto the short road walk back to the Village.
