We 9 adventurers turned up today for a good scramble. A bit chilly on the summits, especially for what is meant to be summer. A bit cloudy at times, but we got some good views of the surrounding fells, the valley far below and the Honister slate mine. We had lunch with a view on Hindscarth and plenty of mini stops to admire the waterfalls. The younguns even went for a little paddle in Dale head tarn.
9 miles, a few more wainwrights ticked off and good varied terrain.
Thank you for accompanying Brenden and I, we enjoyed the day and company. I hope the boys got home in time to see some footy!
