A good turnout for today’s coach walk with a spread of walkers across all three walks.
The B walk had nine takers and we enjoyed a fine ramble in the remote country of the back o’ Skiddaw. We enjoyed blue skies and gentle breezes making our way along the Cumbrian Way to Skiddaw House although it turned out to be a midgey spot for lunch.
The high terrace path around the flanks of Lonscale fell was the highlight of the walk with fine views over the distant fells. With perfect timing we met up with the a party descending from Skiddaw for a sociable descent down to Keswick
Thanks to everyone who came along
