Melmerby Fell

A quick thank you to the fourteen or so walkers who joined me on my first post lock down led walk.  A good day with better weather than expected and though some of the going was wet underfoot we managed to stay mostly dry. The walk visited Melmerby Low Scar then onto Knapside hill standing at 2250ft  before taking lunch on the top of Fiends Fell The rest of the walk, as promised, was downhill with socially distanced tea and cakes taken taken in the Melmerby village bakery tea-room. A great day enjoyed by all.
