A Walk: Holme Fell-Black Crag

Luckily the fine weather returned for the day thus allowing us all to enjoy this low level but very scenic route, bagging two Wainwrights and watching Max and Sam enjoying their swims in the Tarns along the way. Far too good a day to hurry so a coffee stop on Holme Fell, lunch overlooking the formidable Hodge Close Quarry and tea  by Tarn Hows ensured a leisurely time. We managed to find a route over Tom Heights (no paths on the maps) so thanks to everyone for indulging me on my wish to revisit TH last done about 40 years ago!. Thanks to a happy bunch and the good craic as always
