A Small number of determined walkers today tackled the fearsome Jack’s Rake on Pavey Ark.
We probably wouldn’t have scored many points for style but maximum for effort and determination. Encouraging instructions such as “ get your foot up to where your chin is now” and “ no , no, you need to swap your left foot for your right one” probably didn’t help but somehow everyone made it safely to the summit of Pavey Ark. Further summits of Thunacar knot and Harrison Stickle were added before we made our descent to the valley floor.
