A great turnout for the first Thursday night walk of the year. Fourteen of us set of from the car park of the Pheasant Inn on a lovely sunny, and at times windy, evening. We went over fields, along farm tracks and through a lovely woods.
There were a couple of streams to cross but we all made it ok. A gentle walk, no hills, just enough of a workout to to give you a nice appetite for dinner. The dinner was lovely despite the fact it took quite a while to be served.
It was quiz night in the pub and six of us decided to take part.
We did the club proud and won the quiz by a country mile, what a clever bunch we are.
A great start to the Thursday night walks, thank you to all those that came along.
