An intrepid group set off on a gloriously clear morning, passing hoards of photographers and less intrepid walkers along the shores of Buttermere before starting the climb up Robinson. The pace enabled plenty of time to soak up (and photograph) the views that soon opened up. Once at the top the 360° views were breathtaking. A quick descent left time for a pub stop, thanks to the drivers who then brought the cars to the pub
