Walk & Event Reports
22 of us set out in lovely walking weather . Not too hot with occasional blue skies and a light breeze. The views looking to the Pennines and Lake District were quite clear and wonderful to see. After a relaxing lunch on the village green ,( where there are free toilets). We did the second part of the walk along the river Eden where the church was lovely due to its bucolic setting and then back to the village where we changed from our boots and went to the Edenhall Hotel for cake ,scones,tea and coffee. A very pleasant setting where we all relaxed sitting in the garden. Thank you everyone for a most enjoyable walk.
