Ten of us set out from Copshawholm on an inauspicious-looking morning..
However, the weather gods were benign and the drizzle stopped late
morning and patches of blue sky and even short bursts of sunshine
arrived after lunch at the border.
Many thanks to all who were brave enough to venture out, with special
thanks to Graham for back marking duties and to my co-leader Anne, who
helped at the back, the front and everywhere in between, and, most
importantly, organised refreshments at the Olive Tree, whose staff were
as lovely as ever.
Lastly, apologies to Bella for my failure to make it clear that this was
a pooch-friendly
