Eighteen walkers joined me for a walk in two parts. The first part headed south mainly on the old cart track to Annan. It was windy but on the plus side, it didn’t rain, the cows kept their distance and a gate thought to be padlocked turned out to be the opposite!
The second part took us to lunch overlooking the River Esk near Irvine House and then back by the old A7 and the woodland path by the river. The plus side there was that everyone listened and we crossed the road safely near Skippers Bridge. Thanks to all for coming and being a very cheerful group.
