Lanercost - Coomb Crag

“It was nice to have a brief chat with Sue and her Group at The Sands before they left.  Pete was obviously long gone. I hope everyone had a lovely day.

Five assembled at The Abbey Bridge at Lanercost.   Walked in a fairly brisk wind but sunshine all day.  The river, young lambs, spring flowers and trees were an absolute delight.  So nice to be able to stop and look.  Once at Lanerton and after Lunch we climbed up to The Wall Path to return to Lanercost but couldn’t help stopping every now and then to look in every direction and to think how lucky we are.”
