14 of us set out from the Sands car park after sorting out the lifts in cars. We parked at Church Bridge, plenty of room for us all. Another 3 joined us there. So 17 in all set out for the steep climb up the front of the mountain. Everyone did it with no trouble at all. After passing North Top we walked to the South Top where we stopped for lunch. The surrounding tops had a smattering of snow still on them with clouds brushing them at intervals. The views down Crummock Water and Buttermere were very good. As was all the chatter. We all got down safely and had a lovely walk along Crummock Water back to the cars. I hope everyone enjoyed the walk, as I certainly did. Thank you all for coming.
