We set off on a pleasant autumnal morning for our six (ish) mile trek accompanied by two Uni students complete with tripods and cameras, studying “ Wildlife and Media ".
Not quite sure which category we fitted we did our best to oblige.
Then the day became more adventurous! Strange things happening in the bright daylight.
Holly and Fay were friendly and adaptable mixing and drifting in and out of the group while getting the footage they required. So successful was their blending into the background that we lost them!
But - Hayho - they stuck in there and a good while later we caught up again.
They seemed to enjoy the day and wish to return.
Passers - by asked who we were and could they join the club?
One member attempted a system recharge by resting her poles on an electric fence then had the bright idea 💡 that it was best to leave with two others at the next gate.
They were given a rousing send off.
Apologies for the extra distance - it was definitely 6 1/2 miles yesterday!
Thanks to everyone for the amazing company and banter, and for making our job so rewarding.
Special thanks to Judith ( aka Sarah ) for allowing us to have lunch in her wee palace. To Ken for the usual back marking plus searching for the lost students.
Hope to see you all again soon.
Tony and Catherine.
