B Walk

The walk was advertised as a 9 miler as I had advised, on top of my walk description.

However a Gremlin had got in and said it was  6 mls Grade 4 ...not sure how that happened but blaming the web master,  never mind the end result was just over 10 mls.

Nine of us set off from Lark Lane in Penrith, 6 courtesy of Stagecoach plus our two Birmingham members, who drove along with a club member as passenger..nine in total.

Apart from some light drizzle we had a warm day, and a lovely walk with open views 90 per cent of the time, exploring  open fields and woods,a surprise view of Ullswater, plus lovely  villages the club has maybe not stomped through before..according to the experienced Graham Bell, and my other pair of eyes for this novice leader.

We had no one Cop out to get the bus back from Stainton, arrived at The Yard Cafe Brunswick Road ready for refuelling.
