High Rigg Xmas Walk

Upwards of 20 out on the annual Xmas Tea Walk. Two walks set out from Bridge End Farm. The first part of the High Rigg walk gave us some interesting views but as we got higher the clag was pretty much constant until we got to St Johns in the Vale church where we had a light lunch. It was then an easy walk around the east side of the fell for the main event of the day, the tea provided by the residents of Bridge End Farm. We all crammed in to the barn, which was very cosy and were provided with a sumptuous tea of all sorts of goodies, right up my street. We all happily paid for the tea, the proceeds going to the Hospice. A big thank you to Graham for organising the event and good to see Barbara joining us for the tea, Great job by the guys at the farm who looked after us very well.
