VENI VIDI AMAVI 

24 of us set off on the walk and thanks to a vigilant back marker -24 were counted back in. 

The sunshine and abundant snowdrops provided signs of spring awakening- however there was still plenty of mud. 

We enjoyed lunch at Nether Denton church where some enjoyed the ambience of this beautiful church, while the alfresco option provided stunning views across the hills. 

Gilsland never fails to provide great paths, lots of historical interest and plentiful free parking.
