A good turnout for the Wednesday walk and some great photos from Moira.
There were 27 of us on the trip from Ravenstonedale to Kirkby Stephen. Lovely day again, well, it didn't rain.
Cumbria Classic Coaches had a red double decker on the route and there was the customary gallop to get a top deck seat. (In a friendly and polite way).
We had a good walk back to Ravenstonedale via Smardale gill and the Viaduct, which is spectacular.
We had tea and scones at the Kings Head.

Not a bad turnout for Thursday night. A lovely summer evening and we had some superb views from the summit of Binsey.
The walk was followed by a lovely meal in the Sun Inn at Red Dial.
