The weather wasn’t very promising for the 16 who set off from the Lake side car park at Glencoyne.  As it transpired things never got that bad and we were rewarded with a spectacular view of Aira Force which was in full flow. Also a red squirrel was running about, the first many had seen this year.
Lunch on the summit then down on the great path overlooking Ullswater. After walk tea taken in the Car Park Cafe on return was very welcome.
A big thank you to Charlotte for putting on a cracking walk and hope she puts on some more walks in the future.
